Multimedia :: doom doomed!

Afer installing DSL to my HD. I downloaded doom and it seems to have deveopled some problems. The program stops running. I have tried reloading it, but it still has problems. It will not let me move to the right. Anyone else had issues with Doom?

I just d/l it and played a level.. no probs here...
Check your "ps ax" for other programs running alongside it..
Are you using a US keyboard layout ?
Have you tried to install other extensions?
( like ptbr.dsl ? )

I have been able to download and run it from the CD so was suprised that it stumbled when on a HD

Well, took a look at it again, looked at keybindings. Seems the keybindings had gotten rearranged. Oddly enough, the game played with music. Keep in mind that i have not been able to get my sound card working. Wierd!
