Multimedia :: Soundcard keeps disabling driver when DSL is....
Oh.. BTW:
On the Dell systems, there is usually a "boot Options" in the bios which selects the order the computer searches your hardware to find a bootable file system.
Just make CDROM the first one the computer searches and it should be able to boot DSL.

Hi Cappy, thanks for the help. I finally got DSL to work on the Dell comp:) We chose the cdrom as the first booting device and it worked. I have another question but it is totally unrelated to the souncard which I'll post in another thread. Thanks guys for your help you've been great:) Lots of thanks. God Bless
