Multimedia :: How to import address book to Sylpheed



Hi everyone

After "my" import success (and Mikshaw assistance!!) w/ Firefox bookmarks, I'd like to copy my address book from Thunderbird to Sylpheed.

The Pb is that Sylpheed resquets a LDIF file, and Thunderbird is .mab file

I presume .mab is not a Ldif format because it did not work!!  :(

Has anyone an idea how to convert my .mab file into Ldif. I'm pretty sure this info would be useful to many of us.

Very simple actually  (in case you need it !!)

you go into Thunderbird Address book
select the ad book (if several) > tool > export > select LDIF

Then you import created LDIF from Sylpheed and IT WORKS!!!
