Multimedia :: Reading DVD ?

Hi,

Can DSL read DVD out of the box ? (it theorically can since it read mpeg, but experience teached me that reading MPEG=/=reading DVD), if not which software would be the less power-consuming ? Is there any hope I can read a DVD with a PII 366Mhz w/ 192megs PC133 ?

Try getting xine.dsl installed.

However, performance may be borderline with a PII/366 processor. Only one way to know for sure is to try it.
