That's correct. Anything built for gtk2 will require extra things added to DSL. Anything built for gtk1.2 has a chance of working in DSL without additional dependencies. However, every application has its own needs, many of which may not be in DSL. Just because it's a gtk1.2 app does not automatically mean it will run in DSL without extra support files....gtk is basically just its user interface.Thanks, will keep in mind.. grip did not work, error out of space in output dir..played and messed up..nasty. better log out.The default output dir is usually /home/dsl/mp3. If you are running frugal then it's possible all of your ram was used up quickly unless you have alot of ram available. I use grip and it works great.
