Multimedia :: sndconfig finds soundcard but detects errors



Hello,
The sndconfig utility reports that my sound card is: AC '97 I82801EB
When I run sndconfig utility I get the following errors:

The following error occurred running the modprobe program:

When I run manually the  configuration, I get the same error. Any relevant would be greatly appreciated.
Is it already working?

Without running sndconfig, can you play music with XMMS?

Otherwise, try installing the alsadebs.dsl extension.  Read the info file for more detailed instructions.
