Multimedia :: Logitech webcams and Linux QuickCam USB project

Does anyone have any experience with this project and whether it will be easy to use in DSL?:

Linux QuickCam USB Web Camera Driver Project

Trying to decide whether or not I should buy a Logitech QuickCam 3000... it needs to work with DSL or it's a no-go.
