Multimedia :: Alsa in Wine not working

Hi all
I've only got OSS listed in Wine's audio output but Alsa is installed in DSL as I can play Mplayer through Alsa. MMMM....

I've got a soundblaster PCI card.....

Any ideas?

MMM could this be the verison of wine that's the problem?
I have tried in other distros and I've only found one where Jack and Alsa are listed in audio outputs in wine ( using the program winecfg).

If anyone could help me here I'd be so obliged....I've had a really good idea to get something on the go.................

Most likely that wine was compiled with only oss.
