Multimedia :: Add wma support to xmms

i downloaded the gcc1.dsl and the xmms-wma.tar.bz2

the readme tell me to type make

but i get soooooooo much errors somebody had some experiences with DSL + XMMS + wma?

Try grabbing the codecpak.dsl from the testing area..
See if that helps..

better yet, grab this file..
xmms-wma

Be sure to remove the .html off the end of the file, and install as a normal .dsl

And just to let you know, I got the pageful of errors as well when compiling.

but i would be nice to know why there are these errors. any try to find it out?

There were a lot of dependancies needed, so I don't know if having only
gcc g++ make was enough to satisfy the build.

But I didn't study the makefile enough..

I found this in an experimental repository for debian apps,
and rebuilt it into a .dsl file with the dependencies included ..
Works fine for me, sometimes , others I get a fault...

wma files do play fine in mplayer...
