Multimedia :: Multitrack Recording



Are those distros HDD-install-only, or can they be run as liveCDs?  It's always good to be able to be able to try a new distro out without worrying about having to actually install it to harddrive (especially since I don't have enough space free for a full distro)
You may want to check out Dyne:bolic 1.4 as well.  Nice livecd that has lots of audio/video progs, jack support, and can be set up to stream out audio & video. I think the site is dyne.org..
to be safe incase DSL doesn't work for you i'd partition the hard drive and do an hard drive install on the partition you created that way win 98 is there for back up incase you need it which is what i've done i have windows XP and DSL on different partitions incase i need windows
