Multimedia :: soundblaster audigy

i've been trying knoppix and derivatives like dsl for awhile. i really like these live distros except for the fact that i've never been able to get my soundblaster audigy to work. Is there any way i can my audigy to work? thanks.

You may need the alsa drivers. You can try the alsadebs.dsl package from the repository. Make sure you read the info file for other packages. I have an Audigy 2 Platinum card and it works perfectly with alsa. If you use the full Knoppix CD try booting with the 'knoppix alsa' cheatcode.
