Multimedia :: Audio problem.

Thanks cbagger, knowing that I couldn't do it (and it wasn't just me) makes the hard drive problem easier to take. I'm assuming that this is the problem with my desktop unit. Why would they do such a crazy thing?

Does anyone else get the "depmod: Can't open /lib/modules/2.4.26/modules.dep for writing" error? Could this have something to do with the hard drive? I would think this would always happen. I wish I had my old machine back now. Lesson learned: never give stuff away that still kinda works.
