Multimedia :: scanner probs help plz

i have a NEC ReadyScan 636i scanner and i can't seem to find any linux drivers for it and have no clue what else to do can someone help me out by telling me how i can get my scanner installed?

I think u need "sane", but there is no sane.dsl
