Multimedia :: Somebody can help me with this case of terminalMP?
I solved out "Illegal instructions" problem.
Install XFree86-mplayer.dsl and run it
by /opt/mplayer/mplayer
This will make you to work with mplayer in console
PS - it was kindly posted with .dsl.info
Solved.
/opt/mplayer/mplayer works with console
and it supports vesa,svga,etc.
For the furthur information,
check XFree86-mplayer.dsl.info
Video playback is very RAM and CPU intensive. Just having a swap file isn't going to help much if the rest of the machine is slow. Video editing did not even become possible until machines faster than 200mhz came along. Good luck!
