Networking :: Linksys wireless on laptop

iwconfig wlan0 with nothing behind it is a query...not a setting entry...
Remember you must be root or sudo su when trying a major systemwide change such as this

i have the same card and it will work on dsl, however there is another issue-acpi. acpi must be disabled or it will screw up your connections.
i'm surprised that this issue has not been addressed at dsl.

i have run ndiswrapper -m ... when i do modprobe -c ... i see the line "alias wlan0 ndiswrapper" ... do i need to run some modprobe command? i still get no such device when i do iwconfig wlan0 ...
