Networking :: Cable Modem keeps Going down

I recently installed damsmall linux to myhardrive. Im trying to use limewire and about every halfhour the internet goes down. I have it hooked through usb because the network cord wont work. So how do i get the internet to stay up?

I don't know, maybe the FBI is monitoring your illegal activities?
