Networking :: DSL Internet Trouble

O.K. Just installed DSL Today so i'm a newbie but I'm having trouble getting on the web with Dillo or Links. Links pops up with and error saying can't find host and dillo has something about dns. Any Help Welcomed.....

Sounds like you're not getting zour ppp configured correctly. If zou are using the wvdial\pppconfig script that;s in the dsl menu, try instead running pppconfig from a text console which will bring up the debian configuration tool which is a little more user friendly. This is discussed in a thread. I guess search for my name and you'll find a little HOWTO.

O.K. I went to XTerminal and typed pppconfig but i got "You Must be Root to run this program." What do I d from here?

I also forgot to mention I'm using Cable if that makes a difference.
