Networking :: WPC11 v4

What do I have to do to make WPC11 v4 work with dsl?

Does it work with knoppix 3.4?

If so, wait until dsl version 0.8 comes out. I expect that it should be here in a week or so but I do not know for sure.

wpc11 v.4 has realtek rtl8180 chip.

There is a linux realtek driver on the realtek website which works OK, but needs 2.4.20 kernel (it includes a large proprietary part).
the 8180 works sort of with 2.4.21(phlak 0.2 live cd), but does not work with stock DSL which is 2.4.22.

Nice chip 8180, if we could just get realtek to release chip specs and sources.....

Maybe they would recompile if we asked them?
