Networking :: Wireless, Knoppix 3.4 vs DSL

All,

I have copies of both Knoppix 3.4 and DSL. I prefer DSL, however when I insert my PCMCIA wireless card and run KNOPPIX, the syslog detects correctly. From there set up is easy.

However DSL doesn't appear to detect or load my card drivers. I am new to knoppix distros, anyone have any ideas? I am just assuming my version .6 (whatever) is missing something the new Knoppix has?
