Networking :: Wireless D-Link DWL G-650+ and DSL

I am attempting to get this wirelesscard to work with a Harddrive install of DSL and ndiswrapper.

I am following the guide at http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/mediawiki/index.php/Installation

and I haveskipped the part on installing ndiswrapper as I understand that DSL comes with this already included.

I've got to the stage where I type
ndiswrapper -l
and I get
Installed ndis drivers:
gplus   hardware present
instead of
Installed ndis drivers:
gplus  driver present, hardware present

gplus is the name of the driver file, is the missing 'driver present' significant?

I carried on as in the guide and when I get to typing
dmesg
I get
ndiswrapper (NdisMAllocateSharedMemory:997):
Failed to allocate DMA coherent memory. Windows driver requested 204800 bytes of un-cached memory.
ndiswrapper(ndis_init_one_pci:1458):Windows driver couldnt initialize the device.

Can anyone tell a very noobie what might be wrong here or what these messages mean?
Many thanks in advance for any help
