Networking :: ipw2200 with DSL 2.2 and beyond

Has anybody had success in getting an Intel Pro Wireless 2200 card working in DSL since the kernel got downgraded? I had it working fine with the ipw2200 dsl extention, but it only works with the 2.4.31 kernel.
