Networking :: Does not recognize onboard LAN

DSL looks great, but unfortunately it won't recognize my onboard chipset integrated 10/100 ethernet.

While using netcardconfig, DSL said it couldn't find any supported ethernet card.  I've tried other live dist's of linux, and they have all worked with my integrated 10/100 ethernet.

Any ideas? ???

EDIT: here's the mobo I'm currently using - http://www.msicomputer.com/product....lass=mb

help?  :D
i believe you have the same problem as mine.
I have Abit NF7-M (nforce2)
I think most nforce2 m/b use the same NIC..
Realtek PNY ...
You can download driver from nvidia.com
nvnet.o
search google for Nforce NIC linux
However, this driver need to compile against kernel which i don't know how to do it with DSL.
Any help would be appeciated..
