Networking :: Via Velocity Lan

Hello, i've just installed dsl 2.3 on my usb flash drive and now i've a problem with the via gigabit lan integrated in my motherboard abit av8.

Lspci reports "unknown via ehternet card"

In my gentoo box the right module is "via velocity" but i'm totally newbie with dsl..so any help is really appreciated!
