Networking :: ndiswrapper in dsl2.4



Hello
dsl is the best distribution to me but since ver. 2.4 i have a problem:

With dsl 2.3 no problems with ndiswrapper and my rt2500 driver
in dsl 2.4 the installation of the driver seems ok but i can''t get an ip adress with: sudo pump -i wlan0

anyone an idee??

please help
Is it the same device name as before?
What does iwconfig show as the device name?

iwconfig shows:
lo     no wireless extensions
eth0 no wireless extensions


after the command: sudo modprobe ndiswrapper i have ...wlan0
You may want to visit the ndiswrapper support area.
I am sure the ndiswrapper devs would like to know that their later versions have this issue. Or possibly, their site might direct you to alternate windows drivers for your card. This chipset seems to be the most problematic for most SMP based Linux distros.

i tried another card:
lynksys wpc11 ver.4 with driver net8180

this worked very good with dsl 2.3
but i'm having the same problems with dsl2.4 (new ndiswrapper)
