according the mentioned list, ive bought a new wireless card "d-link dwl g 650" version: c2 which should work out of the box.
but it doesnt!
dsl recognices this card and the chipset but it is not able to run it. dsl doesnt find it while trying to configure it. there is no dsl tool which could find and configure the network card!
dsl seems to be in general unable to run wireless pc-cards!
have you any idea (please dont refer to links which dont work, so my impreessions)so iam sorry, this board isnt in the position to give help for dsl users. have a look at unbuntu. another world.
sorry. shutting down will be no loss.Haby,
You have given little information on your exact problem. What system do you have? I am assuming that after doing an iwconfig ath0 scan, you get no results.
I have the same card and have been able to get it working eventually (after quite a few weeks of trying) using DSL 2.1b rather than 2.4. on an old Compaq 1530d.
JonamIf your wireless card has a Atheros wireless chip detected the madwifi-ng-2.4.26.uci extension in the MyDSL testing area will probably work. You can find it HERE. Otherwise you could try NdisWrapper with the windows drivers that were included with the card.

Ubuntu's wireless support became a total trainwreck with 6.06.
Don't expect it to work well for you.Next Page...
