Networking :: dsl & ssh, what a pair!

Forum:
I am now wanting to explore the mysteries of ssh. I started the ssh server, I installed putty on my WinXP box. When I start a session on the WinXP box I enter the login as "dsl", then enter the passwd, but my access is denied. What gives?
