Networking :: Ftp Client Program

Hi!

I'm tryng to make a ftp client that make an automatic download each time but i need a ftp client on console that permits make batch files.

I've found one that names ncftpd but i can't install it.

Can someone tell me an alternative program or how installing ncftp?

if you're just downloading, you could just use wget.

However, I think you could use the console 'ftp' program.

To install ncftp, you could try apt-get i suppose.

For more help type: man ftp or man wget
