Networking :: DSL wireless on Compaq Armada 1520D

Just in case any one is interested, I have just installed DSL on a Compaq Armada 1520D with 3GBHDD and 80MB RAM. Tried two Atheros chipped cards, Netgear WG511T and D-Link 650+; neither would work. As soon as they found the network the machine locked up. I managed to locate a Compaq WL110 card, which worked right away using the options in DSL panel. All I needed to include was the ESSID and WEP key.
