Networking :: Any USB WIFI users?[URL=http://www.3com.com/produc

I was reading through the  Verified Wireless Cards list and came across the "Gigafast 741-UIC usb / Zydas 1201 chipset" line.

While that chipset is obsolete, the 1211 is a very popular chip for Linux users, now that the driver is available in source.  Lots of USD$20 to $50 USB adapters, with WPA and WEP.  User reviews seem to indicate that PCMCIA and PCI cards have better range and durability, but a USB adapter would be very useful for testing.

Anybody have any experience with these under DSL?

Here's an example of a person who got an old laptop working under DSL and then compiled in a native driver for a USB WIFI dongle.  DSL and Zydas 1211 driver
