Networking :: getting wireless network to work with usb install

ive recently installed dsl onto my psp memory stick and everything boots up fine with it(im using my mothers laptop) exept for the internet. the computer uses our wireless router but i cant for the life of me get the inter net to work. is there anything special i have to do to get it to work?

Find out what model/chipset it uses, and check the compatibility lists.

Look in the control panel System Stats Hardware tab and see if any info there will tell what kind of network device.
