Post the output from modprobe.

Googling NVIDIA nForce, seems some use Ndiswrapper with the following windows driver files

BCMWL564.sys
netbc564.inf

Then issue these command:

sudo ndiswrapper -i netbc564.inf

sudo ndiswrapper -l

sudo modprobe ndiswrapper

The results of sudo ndiswraper -l should displays results that a deive is present.

Finally then try the wlanconfig program

I also have problem with my Abit NF8, with Nvidia nForce, I haven't tried any fix because I only use DSL on that box very seldom, only as a rescue sometimes. But it's a pity that it will not run out of the box .
