Networking :: MA111 v2

I realise from the posts on this forum (and others) that the MA111 v2 may work with DSL but with some effort. I have installed the XP driver NETMA111.INF and MA111nd5.sys in my /home folder.

Installed with ndiswrapper and confirmed with ndiswrapper -l.

However when I use the Prism2 config in the control panel to enter the SSID and WEP key the operation fails.

What have I missed?

Are you entering the wep as colon separated pairs?

Yes I have taken one of my 10 alphanumeric WEP keys and converted to HEX and entered with colons between each two digit pair.

I don't think you're supposed to use the prism2 config if you're using ndiswrapper. Try wlancardconfig (sp?) instead.

I think I have something more fundamental wrong here. Since I posted I have rebooted and the driver files are no longer in the /home folder. I do have DSL on my HD, but my /home folder is in my /ramdrive folder.

Have I something wrong with my install?
