Networking :: MA111v2 Problem

I've tried to install the drivers for my Netgear MA111v2 USB network adapter. Whenever I install the drivers via ndiswrapper, and then check the install with ndiswrapper -l I get "ma111v2 Driver Installed" but no hardware installed, or ready or anything. I can't configure anything else, using the ndiswrapper GUI included in DSL says "Connection Failed". I can't do anything else to configure it. I'm using the driver for the V2. But I've tried others from the Netgear site aswell. I'm not really sure what's wrong, so any help would be appreciated. Oh, and one last note, I've done lsusb and it comes up as "Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0846:4240 NetGear, Inc." if that's of any use.  Thanks for your help.
Are you sure you know the card you are using? Or perhaps you mistyped your device id. According to:
http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/mediawiki/index.php/List ,
0846:4240 - Netgear WG111v2
0846:4230 - Netgear MA111v2

That page I mentioned is a good resource for step by step instructions for specifc cards. Doublecheck your lsusb readings and your model number first.

The no hardware worries me. Is it possible this card is defective? Does it work in another machine, with a different OS? It is also possible that your card will not work under a 2.4 kernel, such as that in DSL. You might want to consider trying DSL-N.

Damn, I can't believe I made that mistake. It's weird because the CD says MA111v2, but that may be the other one. I have used this card in another computer running WinXP, so I know it works. I'll try the WG111v2 Drivers and see what happens and then I'll update this post. I'm not sure about forum rules, but I have a different question about something else realted to networking, so I'll start a new topic for it.

Thanks for the help. I'm testing it now.

Well, it still didn't work. I have no idea why. I am using the WG111v2, and I downloaded the version 2.0 drivers from the netgear site. I'm not sure what I did wrong. Hardware still didn't show up under ndiswrapper -l but then I did ndiswrapper -d etcetc and the ndiswrapper -l said hardware present. But then I couldn't configure it at all. So I have no idea....
