Others seems to use the "forcedepth" module that seems to be included in DSL 2.1b (2.4.31 kernel versions)
Here is what I get when I try to modprobe forcedeth:
/lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/drivers/net/forcedeth.o: init_module: No such device Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters. You may find more information in syslog or in the output from dmesg. /lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/drivers/net/forcedeth.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/drivers/net/forcedeth.o: failed /lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/drivers/net/forcedeth.o: insmod forcedeth failed
Where to go from here ??Again, the others have only seemed to get that driver to worth with 2.4.31 kernel versions. If you want to try them, please see my previous posts in this thread.Thank you very much for the help. I found the 2.4.31 kernel and it works great.
