Networking :: What happend to the mentioned wpa support in dsl?

Hi,

a time ago i heared about the implemention of wpa support in damn small linux. setting up wpa in dsl is such a mess. i tried puppy linux days ago and this one is awesome. Puppy has an network wizard with an implemented wpa encryption tool. What happend to the one mentioned here in the forum for dsl?

It's been included as of 3.2
But there's no network setup wizard i think ... i can't find ... this is the only advantage of puppy linux ...
I guess there isn't one, you could ask for a some gui dialog to be added for it.

But it's not that hard without one... you just need need to set up your own wpa_supplicant.conf (which is like entering values into a gui dialog anyways).  You can search the forums if you require more info.

Well i often tried to setup my wlan card & wpa encryption a time ago ... the configuration was a mess and i searched many threads for some help. I never got my wlancard to work with Damn Small Linux.

Setting up wlan & wpa in puppy linux is great. It only took 5 minutes and all worked fine.
