Networking :: How to share a lan network with windows and linux

Hi,
I got 3 pcs in a lan network and another pc running dsl. I want to transfer files through the lan, between the dsl pc and the windows pcs.
How do i share the lan?

You can use the samba mydsl extension

What particular part doesn't work - the samba extension itself or using the samba extension to connect to Windows machines?

The samba extension doesnt work. It just doesnt start.
