Networking :: Internet connection sharing with DSL
I used to use my WinXP box as a router. MyDsl comp was down stairs (the one I use the most) and had XP running it little butt of defending it's self against stupid viruses with an ever stupider anti-virus program. So here I am, tired of XP crashing and crashing. It then occured to me that I could just pop in the DSL Cd and run it as the little server. Not as easy as I thought.
How do I get DSL to share it's internet connection?
So far I have booted it up and am typing you this message from it but I am not quite sure how to set it up. I have a feeling that it is pretty easy so I'll keep reading and searching for the answer on my own. Hope to hear from you soon.

The rcfirewall.dsl, you have to do a HD install and then modify the /etc/rcfirewall.conf file.. http://projectfiles.com/firewall/
Or you could use SmoothWall Express 2.0
