Networking :: NFS

I have set up a NFS Server and im using DSL as my client. I start portmap and then when i go to mount something i put

mount <server>:/home /mnt/home

and i get mount: RPC: Program not registered

what should i do to fix this??

I am getting the same error. Can anyone help? I installed nfs-kernel-server on the one DSL box and started the daemons. Does the same package need to be installed on the client box? Thanks

I'm having the same problem had NFS been fixed ....i read in the forums that it was broken in 1.0 (refresh) ya gotta punch a hole through the firewall on the server machine. shut it off for a minute and give it a try.
