Networking :: Setting Up LVM?

Is it possible to setup LVM under DSL? I would like to use my old computer as a file server running DSL. I would like to take some old hard drives, create one volume out of them using LVM and then share this space over a network using Samba. Is this possible and has anyone else done it? Do I use the apt-get lvm10 command to install the LVM tools to create a LVM? Thanks.
