Networking :: Changing Host Name

Hi

I am building alot of old machines onto an existing network it has DHCP but I am concerned that they all have the host name box

How can I change this before they go live and would it be easy to set a static IP address.

I am a linux newbie but enjoying the process so far

I did a search of the forums using:

It'll answer some of your questions.

Boot the liveCD with the boot option 'host=boxname' with boxname being what you want to call it. It's that easy.
