Networking :: Frugal NE2000 PCMCIA recognition

Hi, all.

I'm trying to do a frugal laptop install, see post:

Unfortunately, I can't get a network connection because my PCMCIA card is not configured by tomsrtbt.

Has anybody got around this?

I'm desperate to put DSL on my laptop!!
