Networking :: Can`t install Samba

I try to install samba.dsl
click on emelfm symbol
edit /opt/smb.conf
start nmbd and smbd
add user+password
but ps-ax dont show smb process
what do i wrong?
Can enyone post howto for newbie (m$ user) like me, step by step?

Try this (If you need more help I can give more detailed instructions later):

1. Install samba.dsl
2. Edit /opt/samba/smb.conf
3. If you want to keep settings add /opt/samba to .filetool.lst
4. start smbd and nmbd "sudo smbd -D -s /opt/samba/smb.conf"
5. Create a share password "sudo smbpasswd -a dsl"

I try this but when i click in emelfm on mydsl
nothing apears, only short flashing of desktop icons.
I belive, so fast isnt possible to install samba???

howto install .dsl packages?

I forgot to say dsl is installed on hda, anything else works great. i install opera too and it works ok.

A hard drive install, you're in luck!! Try
my tutorial. Also, when you click download, it automatically installs Samba. Everything runs in the background, so you wont notice anything different. Read through the tutorial and go step-by-step and you should be in business.
