Networking :: WPC54G v5 on DSL2.0RC2 is ACTUALLY WORKING!!!

i too have a wpc54g card in my laptop and have gone partially through the procedure you gave. have gotten as far as installing the windrivers but when i do ndiswrapper -l the drivers are installed but no hardware present.
don't understand this the card has been in the pcmcia slot all this time.
how do you go about installing the card so its recognized?
thanks for any help and for your procedure, lets hope it works for me.

Re: doobit

Okay, i'll try doing that. Right now i'm on a Belkin F5U111 (electronically a  C.A.T. NetMate2) that was on sale for $0.91 and I have no freezing problems, so it must be Ndiswrapper or the RAM.

What I had to do to get it working was go into 'DSLpanel' and 'PCMCIA Tool', hit 'eject', wait a few seconds, 'insert', and redo the ndiswrapper config.

That's what I did in the GUI. Later if you go into the terminal and check ndiswrapper it should be present.

this process doesnt semm 2 work with dsl 2.0 why? btw: ive got a linksys wpc54g v5 and an texas instruments laptop:(
