Networking :: wpc54g install.

i am following the procedure used by shades in a post here. so far i have installed the driver in ndiswrapper but when i go `ndiswrapper -l' it shows the driver but `no hardware present'.
i have inserted the card in the pcmcia slot at boot time, but its not being recognized and installed. is there a procedure i should be using here that i am not aware of to install the card???

well, i'm whipped. have tried every way i know available and i can't get this card to work on linux. this laptop is condemned to be a windows machine, bitch.
