Networking :: eth0 small problem.

Well first of all hello :)
I just finished installing DSL on my hard drive and everything runs smooth. The problem is that i have to configure the eth0 device (running the aplication on netcardconfig (something like that)) everytime i boot the computer, i've already followed the FAQ adding those lines in /opt/bootlocal.sh yet it still doesn't work ???
My settings are:
Static Ip: 192.168.1.3
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
DNS: 213.228.128.99 & 213.228.128.6
and the workgroup is: TEEN.MASSACRE

God.. this is getting really frustrating, can somebody please give me the full indication to complete this?

regrads.

i'm having the same problem. However I don't know how can I get the IP, DNS and other stuff?? Please help-me I from Brasil and DML Rules!!!

My e-mail is: gmsetta@gmail.com
Thanks!!!

add this line to your /opt/bootlocal.sh

pump -i eth0

and booyah..automatic DHCP request at boot time! (be advised..if not connected to a LAN or something with DHCP the timeout for the ethernet device can be up to 30 seconds..which means a 30 second wait b4 complete boot)
