Laptops :: Laptop screen switches off after 10mins

Hi,

Succesfully got DSL embedded working via compact flash and IDE adaptor. Running GQview and a slideshow for a picture frame. Seems to be ruuning OK except the screen switches off after 10mins of so. The backlight goes off and moving the mouse brings it all back.

Dell Lattitude with BIOS set AC power - Power Managemnt off.

DSL started with noacpi noapm acpi=off.

Is there a MyDSL app which could sort this out of is somethign else Im doing wrong?

Anyone?

I don't know about your particular laptop, but with mine I need to set the screen state separately from the power management in the BIOS.

Many times it is controlled from laptop BIOS, but this thread might also help

add the following to /home/dsl/.xinitrc
