Laptops :: need Sound

i installed alsa ... help me please i don't understand

because i have the dsl 2.2 installed and no sound...

i see the same with all the version of dsl that i have and knoppix 3.1, 3.4, 3.7 and 3.9, 4.0 not tested because i have the dvd version :P

You don't need alsa. Look at the first part of this thread.

Here is the modprobe I use to get my opl3sa2 to work.

sudo modprobe -v opl3sa2 io=0x538 mss_io=0x530 mpu_io=0x330 irq=5 dma=1 dma2=0 ymode=3 loopback=0 multiple=0

Right now, I am putting this in manually after boot. What is the best way to input this in my start up scripts?
