Laptops :: How to turn on ventilators/cooler



Hi,

I'm using DSL on an USB-stick with a HP NC6220.
Tried the last stable version and the RC but on both versions of DSL the ventilator/cooler does not work.
Anyone an idea how to turn them on.
(Laptop gets really hot after an hour of use)

Are they thermocoupled fans..or is there acutally a software deal that runs them...how hot are they getting?

Perhaps its not getting "hot" enough to kick the fans on
