Laptops :: DSL on IBM TP 760xl?? No Grafik driver

Hi i´ve got an IBM ThinkPad 760xl. I´ve trying to start the live-cd but get a bad grafik screen when i trying xvesa. It is full with long strings from top to bottom. I cant see anything.
I´ve try the DSL on a AST 950 and it goes fine. so i know ho it could look..
Hope somone can help me with this.
