Laptops :: Fujitsu Stylistic 1200

Alrighty here, DSL works great on this pen computer except for one thing. I can't for the life of me get the Graphics working. I do have something displayed with Xvesa but it looks like pink/purple garbage. I have tried every relevant setting but that is of little use because most importantly I need to use Xfree86's Fpit driver for the pen.

I have tried using others XF86config files to no avail, I have tried so many different configurations I forget the specific details but it always either doesn't work or shows garbage. I have searched out similar chipsets [MagicGraph128zv NM2093] config files for any hidden settings and found none. It looks like it should work out of the box with the Neomagic drivers but something is amiss.

What avenues do I have? I know 100% sure it is not that specific device - because all three of them act the same way.
Where should I even start to get a better idea of what is going wrong? I really don't want to have to attempt getting windows to work on these things, but I need them to work.

boot with a knoppix cd and use that XF86Config-4 here in dsl.
Sometimes laptops need too boot with
fb1024x768

Now all I get is that X server connection is reset by peer...

What type of problems could this be?

I have gotten it to work great under frame buffering but no dice with any XFree86 config as of yet. The only reason I need to use Xfree86 is that I need the pen driver as this is an old Tablet computer.
